The Modern Talking Employment Initiative (MTEI) is a precursor to training and employment, using a specialist engagement programme designed to create supported pathways for the high rate in unemployment, drug abuse, gang violence and poverty that is plaguing the youth of Durban Kwazulu Natal. Modern Talking places itself at the forefront in providing employment for the youth in areas like Phoenix, Kwa Mashu, Tongaat, Waterloo, Ottawa & Chatsworth, who lack the finances to further their studies once matriculated. These young individuals have burning ambitions to succeed in life, but unfortunately, are not given the chance to prove to their families, friends, themselves and the rest of the world, that they can make a difference. Regular workshops and training programmes on aspects like speech development, conduct, dress, attitude, public professionalism and motivation is the key to Modern Talkings excellent expansion in the promotional and advertising forum.
So, the next time you get approached at a shopping center or in a parking lot by a Modern Talking surveyor, don’t shun the individual but simply show your support and respect to him/ her for trying to create a better life for themselves and their families.
